YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO SIT WITH ME BY THE BIG YELLOW RADIATOR

I tell my capitalism please don’t speak so loudly in such a small space

Form is important because it’s a poem

I left my hat at her house in Denver I couldn’t drive away fast enough
I never drive fast but I wanted to
I wanted to say if you keep talking like that they’ll never give your daughter back
Although the day was cold my car was hot inside because of the sun and mountains

No matter how much chalk you swallow you’ll never be soft

I’ve lost so many friends my whole life
because I moved around so much
because people leave New York so much

Tucked in a sleeping bag calling it self comfort

I wonder what the police talk about when they smile
