Gye-an-early (original collage)

Gye-an-early is an original collage, created with my own hand-printed monotype papers and rescued pages from a set of antique books. Hand cut and assembled with archival backing and paste in my studio in Blue Hill, Maine. This one-of-a-kind piece is from a series of twelve collages created in December 2022, and takes its title (meaning “rather early”) from the glossary book page included in the lower portion of the composition. Signed and dated by the artist.

Unframed collages are packed flat in a rigid envelope with acid-free glassine protective wrap and chipboard backing. All recyclable, plastic-free shipping materials. Framed collages are boxed and may contain bubble wrap or foam wrap for secure shipping, but we use paper whenever possible. (US only.
