Daniel Borzutzky is a poet and translator from Chicago. His books include: Written After a Massacre in the Year 2018 (2021); Lake Michigan (2018), a finalist for the Griffin International Poetry Prize; and The Performance of Becoming Human (2016), winner of the National Book Award. His translation of Galo Ghigliotto’s Valdivia (2016), received the National Translation Award. He has also translated books by Raúl Zurita and Jaime Luis Huenún.
